The Jochem-Jan Sleiffer Study Placement provides Hilton team members currently working at either a Hilton-branded hotel or Hilton office in the Middle East & Africa with a chance to pay their own Hilton opportunity forward, by nominating a close family member for a funded 10-month hospitality study placement at the Dubai College of Tourism.

Course overview:

The winning candidate will be given the opportunity to study for a Certificate Level 4 in Hospitality Operations at the Dubai College of Tourism

The 10-month course begins in September 2024 and includes a 6-week placement in hospitality operations - which Hilton will arrange. The winner’s tuition fees, return flights home, visa, health insurance, accommodation and a living allowance for the 10 months will be funded.

Eligibility:

To be eligible to apply, the candidate must have completed Year 12 of school and be over 18 years of age. They must also be a close family member of a current Hilton Team Member working in the Middle East and Africa region.

Student Visa:

DCT will assist students in obtaining a student visa, which will allow them to live and study in the UAE for the duration of their studies.

To submit an application for the study placement, please follow the steps below:

Step 2: Visit here to complete a personal written motivation statement and a short video response.

Candidates will be shortlisted by the Dubai College of Tourism, after which a committee at Hilton will select the winner. Final admission to the program is subject to Dubai student visa approval.
