DUBAI THROUGH YOUR LENS is a creative media competition for high school students, inviting the next generation of storytellers to showcase their perspective of living in Dubai.

From culture and cuisine to innovation, tourism, hospitality, entertainment, and everyday moments — students are challenged to create original content that reflects what makes Dubai unique through their eyes.

Who Can Enter?

The competition is open to high school students, aged 15 to 18 years old across the UAE; with a passion for travel, tourism, storytelling, videography, or digital content creation.

Finalists will have the unique opportunity to show their videos at EMEA CHIRE 2026, an event where local and international academics, industry leaders, educators, and innovators come together to explore how destinations compete, evolve, and stay relevant in a rapidly changing global market. EMEA CHRIE 2026 will be hosted by DCT and held at the iconic Mohammed Bin Rashid Library from November 9th - 12th 2026.

Theme

Students are encouraged to create and submit a short video/reel capture Dubai's culture, diversity and lifestyle through their own perspective; highlighting the people, places, energy, and stories that define their experience of the city today.

Submission Details

WHO CAN JOIN?

Students from Dubai High Schools, aged 15 - 18 years old. (Business, Media, Tourism & related subjects).

HOW TO ENTER?
