Dubai is home to some of the world's most iconic hotels and is fast developing a reputation for luxury and service excellence. This sector provides incredible opportunities for those with an eye for detail and a flair for service.

Our one-year Certificate programme combines theory and practical education to equip graduates with key skills required to succeed in the industry such as food and beverage service, front office operations and service skills fundamentals.

Upon completion, students can continue their studies with our two-year Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management in order to master all facets of Hospitality Management.

Course Structure

YEAR ONE | Certificate 4 in Hospitality Operations

  • Level: 4 (NQF)
  • Credit Hours: 68
  • Duration: One academic year
  • Study Mode: Full-time
  • Intake: Autumn (September)

During the one-year Certificate 4 in Hospitality Operations programme students study core units which provide the fundamental business and academic skills required in any hospitality related position such as: cultural awareness and workplace communication, service skills fundamentals and marketing.

Hospitality students will additionally study specialised units providing them with more in-depth knowledge and a deeper understanding of the key hospitality departments and roles.

Students are also placed on a mandatory 6-week internship as part of the Certificate Level 4 programme.

YEAR TWO & THREE | Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management

  • Level: 6 (NQF)
  • Credit Hours: 132
  • Duration: Two academic years
  • Study Mode: Full-time
  • Intake: Autumn (September)

Upon successful completion of the certificate level 4, students can choose to progress to the Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management programme, which requires an additional two years of study. The Advanced Diploma focuses on teaching students more supervisory, teamwork and leadership skills. You will have the opportunity to complete a longer industry internship placement of 4 months in Year 2, and another 4 months in Year 3.

Students study subjects within Hospitality Management such as, rooms division management, food and beverage revenue management, leading teams and digital marketing.
